Owlboy is a fantastic metroidvania platformer with stunning visuals, brilliant music, and a fantastic story. Despite minor performance issues, the Switch port is mostly perfect and worth experiencing.

Portals Knights manages to capture the best qualities of the building of Minecraft while also maintaining a combat style that can be as difficult as Dark Souls if you're not prepared. Be ready to spend many, many hours in this charming game.

Portal Knights is a great game that is definitely worth the price tag. If it came delivered as a full price title, I would still have highly recommended it. There is so much to do, and so much fun to be had.

Regular readers of our site know what a tremendous fan I was of Dragon Quest Builders. It was Dragon Quest with the best parts of being able to build through an open concept voxel world. Portal Knights is exactly this in concept, though it shifts points of emphasis. Here we have less story, more combat, and the ability to share in the fun with others. This is more than just my review of Portal Knights.
