Love
Love is a minimalist platforming game with a retro aesthetic and a focus on a challenging but not unfair difficulty. It has an innovative respawn system, 12 levels, 12 track soundtrack, competitive scoring, and a simple-to-use level creation feature. The challenging levels are balanced with the inclusion of a simple yet unique respawn system wherein the player can leave a checkpoint at any location at any point, as long as they are on solid ground.

It may be a simple game but working through Love's tricky stages is pretty fun. I just wish there were more of them to master.Love gameplay video → Ghoulboy Review Switch ★★★☆☆ Ghoulboy is a retro-inspired horror-themed 2D platformer but does it do enough to stand out within this oddly specific crowd? Playing as Ghoulboy will make long-time gamers nostalgic for similar adventures from the 8-bit era.

LOVE is a simple but fun game, with simple but relatively nice, ultra-retro visuals, a neat, yet simple respawn mechanic, and a decent replay value due to its simple score-chasing mindset, and its equally simple level editor. Simply put: it's ok… and that's all there is to say about it.
