A nicely streamlined space 4X game, which hits the right balance between strategy and micro-management. There’s a lot to like about Galactic Civilizations.

Galactic Civilizations' strong AI, robust diplomacy, and variety of strategic options make it an outstanding turn-based strategy game. Unlike the recent Master of Orion III, Galactic Civilizations doesn't drown you in the details of running a space empire.
