2064: Read Only Memories is the perfect example of a modern retro-style game. Everything that made the classics so enjoyable like witty dialogue and exploring areas is here, but spruced up with stellar voicework and a wide variety of music.

That everything feels organic and genuine in futuristic SF is an incredible feat, especially considering the entire game is just text and deliberately low-tech visuals. As for replay value, no matter what decisions you've made, the game has several branching paths and different conclusions to the story so there's plenty of content to play the game all over again.

2064: Read Only Memories presents an interesting, if not predictable, narrative that is propelled by its strong cast of characters and excellent world-building. It’s refreshing to see a developer put so much care into creating a cast as diverse and interesting as this. A copy of this game was provided by the publisher for review purposes.

Read Only is a beautiful game and a simple and enjoyable point-and-click. The pixel art is on point and the design of the exploarable areas is well composed. The bar looks like a bar with all the weird and wonderful liquor bottles on the shelves.

2064: Read Only Memories is an excellent cyberpunk adventure for anyone looking for a point-and-click title inspired by games like Snatcher. Don't forget the catchy soundtrack.
