Demon Tides is an amazing, incredibly expressive 3D platformer that might just be one of the best in its genre. It can be janky and imperfect, but it's so fun to move around in that a feeling of joy will shine through at all times. It's hard not to have a smile on your face while playing Demon Tides, whether you're exploring, gliding through the air, or tearing your hair out to a Mr. Mint Trial.

Demon Tides packs a bombastic punch of peak platforming power that easily justifies its approachable price tag of $24.99 MSRP. You’ll get exactly what you’re looking for if the trailer piques your interest, and if campy convos and stylish schmovement sounds like your cup of tea, developer Fabraz brews an excellent cuppa with Demon Tides. I’m excited to see what they do next and hope it lives up to the bar they just set themselves. Thanks to the developer for an unbiased review key.

Demon Tides is a very fun platformer with charismatic characters and smooth movement. It’s the perfect spring or summer game to play just to get into the season and remind everyone to sit back and enjoy the waves sometime. sitename: Gamerheads Podcast date: 2026-02-20 --- I’ll be the first to admit I was late to the platforming party, it took 2024’s Astrobot to show me that 3D platformers can be very enjoyable.
