This game is awesome. The ending had me laughing and then in tears. Other than the reference noted above that I really wish they hadn’t made, this was easily one of the best games it has been my pleasure to play on the Switch to date. I thoroughly enjoyed it, and am definitely going to be using the many autosaves from my first play through to go back and tackle some of the battles again.

Wintermoor Tactics Club on Xbox One may not be your ‘new game+’, one-shot death brand of turn-based strategy; instead, it dares to be welcoming, and that’s something to be celebrated.

Wintermoor Tactics Club is ultimately a feel-good story with fun tactical battles. It might not be the most complex strategy game out there or have the deepest plot, but it’s an enjoyable way to spend 10 or so hours.
