Tiny Terry is concise yet vast, comically snarky yet endearingly heartfelt… it has to be seen to be believed, and it’s everything I didn’t know I wanted, in the best way possible. So, for anyone needing a mental vacation and a few hours spent not worrying about the world? This is the ticket. The open world was just a means to an end to make the world feel more immersive and Terry doesn’t need to drive that much apart from driving up the building. Sometimes messing around and enjoying a simple laugh is the best joy in life. Tiny Terry’s Turbo Trip was reviewed on a PlayStation 5 using a code provided by snekflat.

Tiny Terry’s Turbo Trip is a casual adventure game about an insouciant boy trying to find his place in the world. The game flourishingly creates an interesting environment filled with colorful characters and engaging concepts all while having a droll sense of humor. In a roundabout way, the game’s shortcomings, while not excused, are long lost in Terry’s smoke trail as he floors his car accelerator to the next hilarious quest. 4.5 Boing! Skip summer school and make bug burgers in this outrageous small adventure to become famous! Tiny Terry’s Turbo Trip is a casual adventure game developed by snekflat, published by Super Rare Originals, and first launched on PC on May 30th of 2024 and released on PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch on February 13th of 2025.

From the characters’ squawking voices to their amusing dialogue, Tiny Terry’s Turbo Trip is a joyful vacation to a nonsensical playground where its small world is your oyster. The Switch performance isn’t perfect, but for a game with a fair bit of jank built in, it didn’t detract from the experience. At a time when the desire for escapism is at its highest, I’ll gladly recommend a trip to Sprankelwater for the best medicine that money can buy.
