Pilo and the Holobook is a charming and bite-sized adventure with smart puzzles and a clever sticker system that could entertain kids of all ages. Pilo is adorable, and the lesson he learns on his journey is one that I feel is needed in times like these. With a fun sense of discovery and some playful characters and locations to explore, Pilo and the Holobook is quite simply a delight. Developer - Mudita Games. Publisher - RedDeer.Games.

Overall, I think Pilo and the Holobook is a great little game. It’s polished, it’s cute, and it’s pretty chill to play. With a hint system, I think it would be the perfect game for kids and families and everyone who like wholesome, fun games with simple interactions.

Pilo and the Holobook is a game that knows what it wants to be, and succeeds at it. It’s a cute and cozy little adventure aimed at a young audience, short and sweet with a price to match. There are a few snags here and there, some puzzles could be signposted a bit better and the secondary scenes could do with a better payoff.

Though Pilo and the Holobook rarely tested me, I enjoyed it regardless. The colourful hand-drawn worlds were a pleasure to explore. Moreover, the audio is upbeat and pleasant to listen to. However, some soundbites were annoying, which was a shame. If you fancy a simple and mindless adventure, this could be right up your street. Alternatively, as a parent, I think this would be ideal for younger or less able gamers. As such, I enjoyed it and think you should pick up a copy from the Xbox Store.
