Star Renegades is a beautiful looking futuristic game with fun memorable characters and deep tactical gameplay to match. Certainly not an easy game. The Imperium is a hard enemy to stand up to. But with every failed attempt comes new lessons in the hopes of finally entering that dimension where you succeed. Star Renegades is a game I won’t be putting down anytime soon and look forward to its future updates. Final Verdict: Two Thumbs Up! Notes Turns out the fun doesn’t stop at launch as the developers are planning to continue to support the game in the future.

Star Renegades provides near endless replayability. With a large cast of heroes, procedurally generated worlds, and deep combat, there will always be a desire to start the next run. Accompanied by a beautiful art style and mesmerizing soundtrack, this will be a great addition to any RPG lovers library.

Star Renegades is an excellent game, one that will keep you entertained for as long as you’ll let it. It’s pretty, the gameplay is exquisite, and ultimately, it’s just a lot of fun. The fact that it’s also got some of the most interesting systems of a roguelike I’ve played helps a lot too. The difficulty can be a bit wonky in places, and the writing doesn’t always hit, but overall, Star Renegades is a deceptively deep and really rewarding game that’ll beat you over the head just as often as it’ll reward your ingenuity.

Simply put, Star Renegades is an indie masterpiece. The depth of its gameplay and tactics make it one of the most creative and rewarding turn based experiences available today. Couple that with captivating visuals and an endearing story and cast of characters make this one that you cannot miss. As one of our most anticipated indie releases from the last two years, Star Renegades was more than worth the wait.
