Rollers of the Realm

It’s an enormously fun and creative take on two genres you would never think to see in bed together. The gameplay is tight and responsive, the boards are intricate and clever, and the splendid voice acting is an added delight. Rollers is in nearly every way more than you’d expect from a typical pinball game.

It blew me away how invested I had become in a pinball. While the story might not be the most epic thing that you've ever played, Rollers of the Realm is definitely worth a shot. Rollers of the Realm is an exciting twist on the typical pinball game.

While the game lacks in the RPG category thanks to a bare-bones story and horrendous voice acting, the pinball portion more than makes up for it with its fantastic gameplay and addicting level designs. With the $10 dollar price tag, this is an easy recommendation for anyone looking for a solid pinball title with a unique twist.

Rollers of the Realm is quite a lot of fun, though the story doesn’t last very long and the ‘Arena’ mode gets repetitive very quickly as it just recycles level designs from the campaign. The core gameplay, though, is totally solid. If you’re not into pinball, this probably isn’t one for you. If you’ve been known to dabble in the art of Pinball Wizardry, however, you should give it a shot.
