Turnip Boy Commits Tax Evasion is ripe to be picked and placed in your library. The Final Word As a game that doesn’t take itself too seriously and doesn’t take very long to finish, I consider Turnip Boy Commits Tax Evasion to be the perfect palate-cleansing game.

Really, the only reason to avoid this game is if you don’t like Zelda-style games or can’t deal with a game that can’t stop cracking jokes for even a split-second. In which case, I’m not sure why you’re even looking at a game called Turnip Boy Commits Tax Evasion. SwitchArcade Score: 4/5 FEZ ($14.99) The most important thing I can say here is that FEZ on the Nintendo Switch is a fine port of the game.

Turnip Boy Commits Tax Evasion takes a pretty bonkers premise, and turns it into a thorough action-adventure game. Not only are the design choices and character dialogue hilarious, but the gameplay hits on all of the beats that make a good Zelda clone. The full game is on the shorter side, but it left me hoping that we haven’t seen the last of Turnip Boy and this curious world.
