The tension ratchets unbelievably high, and the simple act of peeking around a corner can lead to coronary trauma when you realize that something is standing right behind you. Like any good rollercoaster ride, Killing Floor Incursion delivers the chills and the fun in equal measure, and is well worth the price of admission. * The product in this article was sent to us by the developer/company. Howdy.

Killing Floor: Incursion is a fantastic showcase of how good PSVR can be. When gunplay is done that smoothly and in such a badass way, it’s an absolute treat and needs to be experienced by all fans of the FPS genre. I can honestly say it’s the most awesome I’ve felt in a VR headset. While there are other games that use VR in more innovative ways, Tripwire Interactive has made a game that truly feels like you’re playing the lead role in an action movie like Hardcore Henry. The story is good, albeit not amazing, with a puzzle that I won’t spoil which is an incredibly clever reference to the story.

If you have PSVR do not sleep on this title. With very tight controls, an interesting enough story and just the right mix of action and puzzle solving, Killing Floor Incursion will keep you interested until the end, or possibly even beyond. There is a co-op mode to keep bringing you back for more.

Killing Floor: Incursion isn’t the best zombie game I’ve played in VR (that would still go to Arizona Sunshine) but it does a lot right. The unsettling atmosphere is pervasive through each level and the excellent gameplay mechanics between melee and gun combat feel visceral and satisfying. While it does clock in a bit shorter than I’d have liked with only four levels, they are each large and fun to explore. I absolutely recommend that you grab a buddy for some insane co-op fun and lop off a few zed heads for a good time. Killing Floor: Incursion is available starting today for Oculus Rift with Touch from Oculus Home for $39.99.
