Tingus Goose is a diamond in the rough for peculiar, artistic video games. Past Fragrance Point, and barring the upcoming Eternity Egg, it might be the most visually-striking piece of media I’ve experienced in eons. Past that, it’s a sound incremental title, and even if it isn’t a perfect idler/clicker, it works well enough to keep you glued to the screen and coming back to grow your geese. So, why should you play Tingus Goose? - A once-in-a-blue-moon experience of abstract art in video game form - Smart incremental loop with so much to unlock that you might lose track of time - It’s a game that will have you saying “WTF?” and “oh my god” more times than you can track. But why shouldn’t you play Tingus Goose? - You aren’t a fan of body horror, even if it’s so over-the-top it’s hilarious - You’re expecting an idle game with minimal interaction. A review code was kindly provided by Playsaurus for the purpose of our Tingus Goose review.

Tingus Goose is a bizarre experience all around. Thankfully, it embraces its own oddities, and that's the type of weird I can get behind. If you've ever played games like Lemmings, you'll feel right at home with it. The challenge of creating a Rube Goldberg machine to guide the Tingus to the destination, while gaining as much cash as possible, is an intriguing gameplay loop that is hard to put down.

An equally charming and disturbing clicker game, which doesn’t entirely transcend the genre’s pitfalls.
