Unfortunately, there’s no cross-play in sight, which seems like a gargantuan missed opportunity with the recent Console releases. The Steam version is by far the one with the most active playerbase though, so if you play here, then you’re in for a good time, especially if you have friends willing to join your lobby. Add custom levels and worlds that the Steam Workshop provides, and you have an insane amount of multiplayer replay value that makes this one of the best computer games I’ve ever played online.

Regardless of these minor faults, Golf With Your Friends is a fun, colorful way to experience minigolf in the comfort of one’s own home, either alone or with a group of, well, friends. There is a ton of variety in both courses and game types, the mechanics are simple to pick up and the game’s in-engine physics simulate the feel of a real golf ball (or hockey puck) quite well for the most part. For those who wish to hit the links while on lockdown, or just looking for a fun party game, Golf With Your Friends packs a lot of replay value for such a relatively low price.
