There's a ton of new goodies to like -- new races, new gameplay options, a trading economy model and new interface options. It's certainly a good game, but now the dilemma before me was whether I preferred the original game or its sequel, in terms of interface and game play. The things they have added do not drag the game down. In many ways they are great improvements. But they don’t go as far towards making the game a truly deep, satisfying RPG as they could. I wonder if the team, worried about alienating the more casual audience back off a little.
