Simogo Legacy Collection Nintendo Switch 2 Edition is simply one of the most important releases of 2025 and one of the best games you can buy on Switch 2 today, oozing with creativity and featuring some of the best iOS games of all time. Not only did Simogo do a great job translating all the games over with an incredible Nintendo Switch 2 Edition that makes great use of the hybrid console’s input options, but this is immediately my favorite way to experience these games.

Times have changed, and Simogo has expanded beyond Flesser and Gardebäck as their ambition has grown and brought them back to the realm of console games – such as the playable pop album Sayonara Wild Hearts, and their puzzle-mystery magnum opus Lorelei and the Laser Eyes. The brief, heady days of App Store brilliance are over; the world that allowed Simogo to flourish is now extinct. How fortunate it was that Simogo got the chance they did; that they’re still with us, and able to assemble this inspiring little collection we can play in perpetuity. These games, in all their varied playfulness, are full of longing: for a lover, for meaning, for a chance to write your own ending. Play them and dream about a world where it all went differently.

As an interactive archive of gaming experiences, Simogo Legacy Collection sets a new bar for quality. Presenting a variety of fun, cleverly designed games in a gorgeously polished package, it’s a delightful way to enjoy the development team’s earliest works and piece together the DNA of their more recent masterpieces. Year Walk and Device 6 alone are well worth the price of admission – a must-play for indie game lovers.
