Diaries of a Spaceport Janitor goes outside of what makes a game fun and decides to give greater meaning to the day to day struggle of living. While it does succeed at this, it does run into a few speed bumps along the way, making it a sometimes frustrating experience rather than one that resonates completely with all players.

It’s a strange, retro-styled beauty that needs to be played to be experienced.

By bridging the gap between our daily struggles and the daydreams that surround them, it suggests that the one space we truly own is our imagination. There is a certain beauty hidden in that sentiment; that it is the fantastic, the surreal, the strange, that might liberate us.

This game is straight up weird, crazy and just bizarre yet I loved playing it. There were no stakes, I had a weird skull soaring around me and I just happily burned trash up.
