If you haven’t had the opportunity to punch your ticket for a three-day getaway to Fortune City, the Dead Rising Triple Pack might be just the vacation you’ve been waiting for. While it’s not quite a perfect port to the current-gen platforms, the graphical upgrades and improved frame rates do help justify a trip for newcomers.

Sure, there’s some choice mechanics that don’t hold up, especially in the first game, but for the price, fans of the series or people looking to try this series out for the first time will get a lot for their money.

While this Triple Pack lacks the equally popular Case Zero and Case West mini episodes, this collection is still the ultimate bargain for longtime fans and those looking for an entertaining and quirky Survival Horror experience that is every bit as fresh and alive as it was ten years ago.

Dead Rising HD Collection is a great experience for those wanting to get into the series before Dead Rising 4, unfortunately the Collection offers little more for fans of the series.
