If you’re looking for something fun that has great replay value and a reasonable price tag, do yourself a favor and at least download the demo for Blacksea Odyssey. All you’ve got to lose is a bit of bandwidth, and if you have fun then it’s definitely worth your time and money. Fans of other highly rated roguelikes such as Binding of Isaac or Risk of Rain should absolutely check it out.

All told, Blacksea Odyssey is a bizarre and wonderful game. The huge enemies, random maps, and plentiful powerups make every outing a fresh and dangerous trip into the star-filled sky.

Blacksea Odyssey feels unique in a sea of games in the same vein. There is enough here to keep players interested while not frustrating too much with its roguelike elements.

It doesn't reinvent the wheel, but Blacksea Odyssey is a great example of bringing something new into a saturated genre. Microtransactions: none 7 Gamezeen is a Zeen theme demo site.

Blacksea Odyssey is a unique and unusual game – of a type that I’ve never played before. It’s like a mixture of Asteroid and Euro Fishing, with a dash of Monster Hunter sprinkled on top. I enjoyed my experience but I’m afraid I’m just not very good at it.
