For $20, Alien Rage is a rather fun little experience. It has its moments of frustration with the difficulty, but the weapons and score-based mechanics really make it shine over other titles in the genre. The multiplayer is surprisingly fun, and many FPS fans will find a lot of enjoyment out of the entire package. I suggest giving it a try if you enjoy arcade style first-person action.

The story and dialog aren't anything new or interesting. In fact, there isn't much about Alien Rage: Unlimited that brings anything new to the table. But there's a lot about it that hits you right in the nostalgia. If you grew up Unreal Tournament and Halo like I did, and you're looking for a game where you blow stuff because it's fun- Alien Rage: Unlimited is worth your $19.99. Rating: 7.4 Above Average * The product in this article was sent to us by the developer/company. About Author I've spent an embarrassing percentage of my life planted in front of a screen.

Alien Rage feels like a love letter to first person shooters from the very first moment you’re dumped onto a giant rock hurtling through space. It pokes fun at the genre in all the right places but, when it needs to get down to business and actually feel like a decent shooter, it does that well too. There’s something incredibly cathartic about taking down hordes of enemies with explosions and seeing numbers fly off them, adding to your score.
