The head aiming system works well at least, but overall it's the definition of unnecessary. The bad Job Simulator VR NZ$45.95 Move controller? Required Sickness index: None Rating: Argh/10 Another game that must be played while standing, Job Simulator is as garbage as its name would suggest.

Super Stardust Ultra VR does everything that had made the series work before and expands on it with a new cockpit view. This really brings the action close to you and sucks you in like never before. Anyone who hasn’t had a chance to check out the series should do so now, because you get a lot of content in just one package.

It is hard to shake the feeling that Stardust VR could have been an update to the current PlayStation 4 iteration of the game. The new VR mode and enhanced presentation could have very well been either free or paid DLC for the existing game, instead of a standalone release that repackages all of the content from the PS4 iteration. While I’m not interested in drawing a value assessment of the overall package, rest assured that Super Stardust addicts like myself will not be disappointed with this purchase.

In conclusion, Super Stardust Ultra VR transforms the previous game and gives the player a cockpit view that has been built especially for virtual reality. Although this mode does work, I did find the graphics a little dated and at times, a little jarring, especially the non-cockpit game modes.

The new mode is unnecessary and strips away the very elements of gameplay that make Super Stardust so good in the first place.
