A short but sweet ride on her majesty’s service saving the Yankees from nuclear terrorism that leaves very little to fault or recommend for what it is: A perfect representation of what a good arcade game used to be and should you feel the need to relive those glorious times, you can now do so conveniently on your Switch. For England, Sly.

Sly Spy is a decent entry in the Johnny Turbo Arcade lineup, bringing a decent action game to home systems in a more cost-efficient method than the out of print Data East Wii disc. Like Gate of Doom, you won’t be able to adjust any of the DIP Switch settings, which means you can’t make the game easier or harder, rather annoyingly. If you go and credit feed with this game, it’ll take you only 20 minutes to beat, which seems laughable, especially since continuing doesn’t reset your current score and thus makes limiting your continues for a higher score harder to do. Still, despite these shortcomings and how this rerelease could be handled much, much better, the core game is still a lot of fun and even with the short length, it’s engaging enough to pick up and play through every now and then to challenge yourself with a higher score.

There may not be many retro James Bond games but Sly Spy certainly does a decent job of filling 007's shoes.Johnny Turbo's Arcade: Sly Spy gameplay video → Joe and Mac Caveman Ninja Review Switch ★★★★☆ Wacky 2D platformers usually make for memorable cooperative fun with a friend so let's check out Joe and Mac's delightful debut. Although more gamers are probably familiar with the console port, Joe and Mac actually debuted in arcades as Caveman Ninja.
