The only challenge you'll have now is keeping in the board's good graces long enough to leave your imprint on a club.

Football Manager 2020 is the purest, most engrossing and also the most accessible football management game yet and marks yet another high point for the series. From improved accessibility and usability to improved AI and long-term gameplay functions in new features like the development centre & club vision, this is a game that takes a longer more realistic look at the beautiful game than any before it. Slight issues still prevail, but this is the closest to perfect the series has ever been. Pros - Excellent UI, crisp and clean and very easy to navigate - Arguably the most approachable Football Manager title yet thanks to the UI and tutorials - Fantastic level of detail across every aspect of the beautiful game, particularly in transfers - Club vision and the development centre adds extra realism to the game and place a focus on a longer approach - Improvements to the match engine bring it closer than it's ever been to real football, with improved visuals making it look better than ever before Cons - While the most approachable it still could be daunting for complete newcomers - Press conferences and player talks are still limited in scope and too rigid - You can still see some strange, anomalous results and buggy actions by players during matches The links above are affiliate links.

Surprisingly accessible considering the depth of management on offer. Football Manager 2020 delights in almost every way. Prepare to be sucked in once again.
