The Ancient Gods picks up after the end of the main story in a time where, due to the Slayer's actions, the armies of heaven and hell have fallen out of balance. The demons have flooded in to overtake the weakened angelic realm, so the Slayer's been called in to clean up the mess.

A direct continuation of DOOM Eternal’s main campaign, The Ancient Gods Part 1 is a non-stop adrenaline-fueled slaughter fest. It takes all the best parts of the main campaign and turns them up to 11. Prepare to Die The Ancient Gods Part 1 assumes you have a fully leveled up Doom Slayer, and from the first fight of the game it is obvious that you are going to have to bring your A-game to survive.

The Ancient Gods is an unapologetic and brutal conclusion to an epic game. Rip and tear into this expansion and see end for yourselves. Developer –id Software Publisher – Bethesda Game Studios Platforms – PC, PS4, Xbox One, Switch The Ancient Gods has reached it’s finale with the release of Part 2 of this DLC.

Doom Eternal’s first piece of substantial singleplayer oriented DLC feels like it is off to a good start, offering a real challenge for fans of the original while feeling like a natural continuation of the base game. In essence, Ancient Gods Part One feels essential to the Doom Eternal experience, rather than something that feels tacked on or unnecessary, while simultaneously setting up some fun narrative beats for part Two of the DLC.
