All in all, this is an excellent, fully featured rendition of one of the best Dynasty Warriors games on the market. If you missed out on the original, you’ll be in for a real treat.

This is the perfect game to pick up if you want to get into the non-licensed musou titles, but also a fantastic game for veterans of the genre. There is a reason why so many consider it to be the peak of the IP. There are tons of characters to play that you are bound to have a bunch that fit right into your playstyle. The story is fun, the character interactions are charming, there really is nothing too negative I can say about it. Warriors Orochi 3 Ultimate Definitive Edition was reviewed on PC using a copy provided by Koei Tecmo.

Warriors Orochi 3: Ultimate Definitive Edition is a strong remastering effort of what is one of the Musou franchise’s best entries. I was overwhelmed by the addictive and plentiful amounts of content on offer, as well as some frantic and varied gameplay. The few cracks that display the game’s age are small potatoes when stacked up to how much of a blast it all is. If you want a quintessential Musou game that is practically never-ending, you’ve come to the right place. Warriors Orochi 3 Ultimate, as the name suggest, is the definitive version of the third Orochi title. Brimming with content, it's a game that will consume you with the amount of things to see if you let it. However, it's still a Warriors title, so if you've been turned off by the series before, this one won't do much to change your mind.
