Rush Bros. came out of nowhere, but is a very polished game worthy of any gamer’s time.

Of course, with some better platforming and tighter controls, Rush Bros would be much more recommendable. But for what it is, a nine dollar indie game that provides some laughs, a few thrills, and some absolutely gorgeous art, it’s at least worth a look.

The core game itself and the platforming is still respectable enough to warrant a check though.

Rush Bros is a thoroughly mediocre platformer. The best reason to purchase it is, in fact, the soundtrack, which is probably worth the price of admission. If you buy it looking for an innovative platformer or exciting music game, you will be disappointed. Pros - Excellent music - Cool art style - Competently made - Drop-in multiplayer Cons - No depth - Multiplayer always on by default - Average level design Final Score: 60/100 Game Front employs a 100-point scale when reviewing games to be as accurate about the experience as possible.

Custom soundtracks aren't enough to give Rush Bros. the longevity it needs. I am a huge fan of music and rhythm games, especially ones that seem to be far-fetched from the definition of “normal,” which is why some of my favourites include titles like Bust-a-Groove,Osu! Tatakae! Ouend...

By and large, Rush Bros. stumbles across the finish. Its sixty levels have moments of cleverness, but the platforming mechanics are stiff and unreliable.
