Mortal Kombat Komplete Edition
This Komplete Edition is a re-release of the original game. It includes the full game, alongside all previously released downloadable content. It also includes the Mortal Kombat: Songs Inspired by the Warriors album (including a bonus track) and the 1995 Mortal Kombat movie for download, via the PlayStation Store or Xbox Live Zune. For the PS Vita and Windows this is the first release of the game. It has the same content as well as new costumes and a new Challenge Tower (Vita version only) not featured in the versions for other platforms.

While it was nice to dig back in for a while, I have moved on to other titles now, so anyone looking for a double dip will likely not get as much mileage out of this version. For the few that have yet to play it though, you are in for a treat. The PC version is by far the best looking iteration of the game, and the amount of content packed in here will keep players occupied for months. That is of course if the online manages to get a foothold.

With all that content, an in-depth Story mode, and a wide range of modes to play through, Mortal Kombat Komplete Edition is one of the most complete fighting games around. It looks fantastic on PC too, and while there aren't a lot of graphical options to tweak, even those with less than cutting edge hardware will have no trouble running the game smoothly.

The online experience could be better, especially with such a small community, but the game is solid enough in other areas that it is easily one of the better fighting games for the platform and worth checking out.
