Just Cause 3: Mech Land Assault is the second PDLC pack from the Air, Land & Sea Expansion pass. Infiltrate the mysterious secret island of Lacrima to liberate rebels held prisoner by the ruthless soldiers of the Black Hand. Hijack powerful Mechs and use their incredible Gravity Weapon to hurl and smash the enemy into pieces. This content pack includes a brand new island, missions, challenges, two heavily armed Mechs equipped with the GRIP Gravity Weapon, the Bavarium Power Core energy rifle and a Rebel Mech buddy, all of which can be carried over into the main game.

In all, I’m happy with the DLC, just annoyed that it is so short. It’s fun to use the mechs and it’s interesting to learn more about Medici’s past for a lore hound like me.

Definitely unique. It's more of a DLC than an expansion, but the new Mech challenges grant you some upgraded powers to unlock. It doesn't completely overhaul the game like Sky Fortress, but it contains excellent additions that simply beg you to try them out for the excitement factor alone. ICXM operates a zero tolerance policy with regards to trolling, flame baiting, name calling, console wars (including pro-Xbox) and any other form of toxic behaviour in our comments system.

Mech Land Assault is not here to make friends. This piece of DLC is made up of some of the most fun—and some of the least fun—you’ll have in Just Cause 3. It’s harder to get your hands on a mech than it should be, but it’s a power trip every time you do. * The product in this article was sent to us by the developer/company. Randy gravitates toward anything open world, open ended, and open to interpretation.

Mech Land Assault is an acceptable, but not substantial addition to Just Cause 3’s DLC vault. It goes nicely with the previous chunks, but time will have to tell if it completely changes the landscape compared to what else the game will provide in the future. Otherwise, the mechs are the true and only standout.
