There’s a quiet brilliance to the way it unites so many simple on the surface yet subtly complicated gameplay systems without letting any of them spiral out of control. It is rare for a puzzle game to offer this much substance while remaining this approachable, but Drop Duchy makes it look easy.

Drop Duchy is the perfect blend of real-time puzzle solving and roguelike mechanics. I didn't know I needed a Tetris-like game in my life, but add a few archers, some resource management, a great progression and reward system, and a finely tuned difficulty curve.
