Resident Evil is a great game with a fantastic blend of jump scares and puzzle solving. It runs well on the Switch and offers a good gameplay experience. However, unless portability is a main factor, playing it on another platform may be a better choice.

Atelier Lulua is one of the more new player friendly titles of the series yet, tweaking mechanics to be more intuitive than previous entries. Also, as a long-time fan of the series, it was great to return to Arland and learn more about the world and characters. Atelier Lulua is one of the better Atelier titles in recent years, and it’s worth picking up for any fan of the series.

I have to say, Atelier Lulua ~The Scion of Arland~ is one of the best games in the series. The characters are wonderful, the story while not unique is still very interesting and the combat is a pure joy. I played this one for around 45 hours and could’ve easily gotten more finishing up quests, doing post-game stuff or trying for one of the other endings. If you’re a fan of series, the game is well worth the $59.99 price tag. If you haven’t picked one of these games up in a while, now is the perfect time to jump back into this great franchise.

Atelier Lulua is more than a case of ‘Gust has done it again’, although that’s obviously true. It’s a great game with a brilliantly-told story full of great twists. More than that, though, it’s notable because it takes the chance to question an element at the very heart of the genre — why is combat so central to the experience? Is it a necessary part of the story being told, or does it wind up limiting the kind of adventure that developers can to craft? There’s no clear answer here, but the fact that the question is being asked in such an interesting way deserves a huge amount of respect. Disclosures: This game is developed by Gust and published by Koei Tecmo.

Overall, Atelier Lulua: The Scion of Arland is a remarkably, bright, and colorful JRPG that JRPG enthusiasts or newcomers should experience. Its collection of characters, unique gameplay trifecta, and whimsical presentation provide a different and distinct JRPG experience that players will embark, enjoy, and remember long after the credits roll.

If you’re looking for a laid back, cute and comfy Japanese RPG with an overwhelming amount of cuteness, you should consider picking up Atelier Lulua. If you’re not into super cute anime girls voiced by also cute Japanese voice actors, I’m not sure what else can fill that hole in your heart.
