In a search for her missing mother, Totori tours the world of Arland as an adventurer accompanied by her friends. Use Synthesis, Explore, and Battle to fulfil requests, raise her rank as an adventurer and venture into brand new lands. - Atelier Meruru ~The Apprentice of Arland~ DX Third release in the Arland series. Princess of the small frontier country of Arls, Meruru plans to use alchemy to stimulate the growth of her small country. Use Synthesis, Explore, and Battle to increase the population within the time limit and boost the advancement of the kingdom."

When I gave The World Ends With You Final Mix a perfect score, I did so because it reflected not a flawless game, but one that overcame its blemishes and left you feeling positive. That’s why I’m once again granting a perfect score. The end result of playing Atelier Arland trilogy is equivalent to finishing a strong book series. The individual pieces are engaging on their own, but together they craft an experience that is of S quality.

One game by itself would be a fun developmental RPG, but with all three bring an ongoing storyline overall, and a foundational focus for each that mitigates the lack of such for the other two. Though the series has yet to push the boundaries of its host hardware, the Atelier Arland Trilogy does accomplish two goals: to set up for the fourth game releasing soon, and to provide unique and fun gameplay with immense value for investment hours.

While these ports should definitely have been handled with more care, the Deluxe Pack brings 3 fantastic Atelier games into a single discounted package. Each game should’ve cost less individually but the overall package with all three is definitely worth looking into if you’ve ever wanted to get into the Atelier franchise. I’m glad that the series is on a portable that more people own and one that has the potential to make the series finally have a breakout hit in the West. 8/10 DYNASTY WARRIORS 8: Xtreme Legends Definitive Edition Originally released through multiple ports on PS4, PS Vita, and PC and scored 8/10 DYNASTY WARRIORS 8: Xtreme Legends Definitive Edition is yet another release of Dynasty Warriors 8 and while you probably own it on some platform assuming you’re a fan of the Warriors games, there are many reasons why the Switch version is well worth your time. Having played Dynasty Warriors 8 on both PS4 and Vita, the Switch version is definitely my new goto version of the game.

I’d recommend this trilogy for anyone that really enjoys laid-back, slice of life titles. Rarely are you going to go out there and save the world, but you’ll enjoy a happy life creating items and making people happy… and sometimes, that’s all you can ask for.
